Winter Fly Fishing Special

Book Your Winter Fly Fishing Special Today!

Winter fly fishing can be some of the very best of the year, especially on the Provo River, Weber River, and Green River.  Midge hatches at this time of year can be epic, with hundreds of fish feeding at one time. We’ll admit it, the weather can be cold, but because of Utah’s famous temperature inversion on most winter days, the Utah high country is much warmer and has much more sun than the Salt Lake City area. At Utah Fly Guides we never take a season off and we have all of the gear and the right tactics to catch fish even throughout the winter months.

Enjoy a Ski/Winter Fly Fishing Combo Trip

With our famous “Greatest Snow on Earth,” Utah is the perfect place to combine a half or full day of fishing with your ski or snowboarding trip. We are happy to arrange our schedules to be able to fish with you around your slope time. We do find fish to be the best during the warmest part of the day (10 to 3 or so), a fact that is advantageous to our extremities as well. This gives you the chance to fish for a half day during prime time and then gives you plenty of time to get back inside to swap your fish tales and recount skiing or snowboarding exploits around the fire.

Now through March 21st book a full or half day for two anglers for the one angler price.

Contact Jake or Bryan for more details and to book your winter fly fishing trip…
