Guided Fly Fishing Rates

Fly fishing guide prices can vary widely. Some even advertise cut-rate trips on discount coupon sites. We believe that with fly fishing guides (and burritos) you get what you pay for. At UFG our guides bring years of experience, and we work extra hard to make your day the best it can be, providing a better experience and, ultimately, a better value.

Which Trip is Right for Me?

Our fly fishing trips are designed for either one or two people per guide and for either a half day or full day. Beginners, those looking to learn a particular fly fishing skill, or those looking to really maximize their opportunities for trophy fish will often choose a 1:1 guide to angler ratio (even if there are 2 anglers in the party). A 1:2 guide to angler ratio is more affordable and still allows for high-level fly fishing instruction.

Maximum 1:2 Guide-to-Angler Ratio Ensures Safety & Quality

We know that you want to have the best possible experience on your fishing trip and to return home safely, so, we maintain a maximum 1:2 guide-to-angler ratio on our trips. Groups of three or more will need to arrange more than one guide. For example, three anglers would book one trip at the two-person price and one at the one-person price.

We are looking forward to fishing with you.
