UFG was founded by several like-minded Utah fly fishing guides who wanted to offer a different type of guide service, one that focused on quality of the experience and protection of the environment, rather than quantity of trips and tips.

Our guiding philosophy is simple — This is your fly fishing trip, we will do everything we can to make your day the best it can be. This commitment takes great guides who truly “get it.” When you call, if we don’t have one of our professional and accomplished guides available for your trip, we simply won’t do it.

Safety and Service
There are many concerns to address when preparing for a fly fishing vacation; you won’t have to worry about your guide or your safety. We require a 1:1 or 1:2 guide to client ratio on all of our trips for safety and service. Your only concern when you’re with us will be catching fish and posing for the pictures you will be sharing with your friends and family.
